First let us apologize as this letter is long overdue.  After a month of windstorms, power outages, and the holidays, we finally have a chance to sit down, collect our thoughts and put them on paper.

We would like to sincerely thank you for the wonderful room at the Empress Hotel you arranged for us.  The view of the inner harbour from our room was fantastic!  When we arrived, we were also surpised with a gift basket from your group in the room - what a treat!  We somehow managed to make our way through the whole bottle of sparkling wine before heading downstairs to Aaron's Christmas party..how nice not to have to drive!

Just when we thought our experience with your group couldn't get any better, you proved it could.  Not only did you do a great job with the sale of the house, but you have made us feel valued as clients.  Although we don't plan on selling our current home anytime soon, you can be sure that we'll recommend you to anyone we know who is looking for a realtor.  You have definately earned our loyalty!

We bought our first house and we were incredibly pleased with our choice!!  Initially we were not totally convinced we were seriously looking and your buying agent was the selling agent on a house that was really pie in the sky for us.  In comparing that house with others we fell in love with another house and eventually asked to help us with the offer.  She suggested we look at a few more which was a good idea, but only solidified our love for the one we bought. She then negotiated a very reasonable price for us and has since been key in helping us get a new roof on the house (prior to possession) since it has developed a leak with all the crazy storms we have had.  She is easy to talk to and has held our hands through the somewhat overwhelming ordeal of the first house.  She makes it clear exactly what we need to do and when, and has had everything we need taken care of done very promptly.  I have already recommended her to others who are hoping to get in the market early next year!

We have had a very stressful year as my husband had to start a new job in Calgary, AB.  The children and myself had to stay in Victoria until the start of the school year. A total of 5 months We started with one real estate company with no success. We even waited 2 weeks to have subjects removed and found out the buyers were not pre-approved. What a waste of time. We decided we needed to change agents so we could say it must have been the company not the house. I do not want to mention names but a low percentage company may not be the best route.  We phoned and told our story. Said would try  best to sell the house quicklyÂ, called us several times to keep me updated which was a change from the first real estate company. There were several showings and a few open houses, gave us ideas on how to market our house. After many phone calls and negotiations our house sold in less than 3 months. Subjects were removed in a week and possession date was completed in one month, recommended a lawyer that quickly had papers transferred to Calgary which made the process easier and faster as well. A company like RE/MAX works many hours and with many different angles.

Was a great help to us in our search for a house.  We had 5 days to find and buy a house.  He set up viewings in very short time, usually for the next day and had valuable insights into localities and life in general in Victoria.  We came here from Ontario so it was a bit of an adjustment.  Kept in touch with us after we bought the house to apprise us of changes and work progress.  I would recommend him to others in military families.  He also did a good job putting up with the noise from our two little ones!

I have been in my house for three months now and it's beginning to feel like a home.

When I phoned to enquire about listing my condo I was assigned to Shelley Mann.  She came promptly and was dressed in an executive suit and was most informative and professional.  Our subsequent meetings were less formal but we came to know each other and our expectations.  We settled on a price and date of possession and she got me what I had asked for in two days!  Of course I am happy with the result.

My husband and I recently bought our very fist home in Campbell River!  We used a realtor from The Neal Estate Team in Victoria.  We looked to buy in Victoria for over a year and a half and realized we couldn't afford what we needed.  Our agent was very patient with us and worked with us for the entire time.  We viewed dozens of houses not only in Victoria but 3 hours up island as well.  He was there.
